After nearly three decades in New Jersey public education, Michelle retired from her role as Superintendent to begin a new chapter—though anyone who knows her knows she doesn’t stay still for long! During her career, she had the privilege of serving as a teacher, Interim Vice Principal, Director of Curriculum & Instruction, and Superintendent. She worked alongside dedicated educators and families to strengthen schools, support teachers, and create meaningful learning experiences where children thrive.

Today, Michelle serves as the Director of Education at Monmouth Reform Temple, where she builds on our strong foundation by nurturing a warm, welcoming community, partnering with our talented teachers, and helping every child develop a meaningful and lasting connection to Jewish life, learning, and community.

Michelle believes Jewish education is about so much more than learning prayers, holidays, or history. It's about building relationships, asking questions, celebrating traditions, discovering what it means to live a Jewish life, and helping every child find a place where they belong. She’s grateful to spend each day combining her love of education, leadership, and Judaism in a community where learning, connection, and belonging are at the heart of everything we do.
