This is my second year as principal of Monmouth Reform Temple Religious School.  I am happy to be directing a warm and caring school which provides students and their families with a place to learn and grow.

I have been involved in Jewish education for thirty years, first as a teacher in the Rodeph Sholom School in New York City and then as a principal at Congregation Shomrei Emunah in Montclair, NJ and vice principal at Temple Har Shalom in Warren, NJ.  My experiences have shown me that a supplementary school is best when it builds community and provides students with a strong knowledge base by meeting their individual needs.

I have a BA in History and an MS in Elementary Education from SUNY College at Buffalo.  For the past three years I have been a member of the first cohort of the Leadership Institute for Congregational School Educators, an ongoing project of Hebrew Union College, the Jewish Theological Seminary and the Federation of Greater New York.

Being part of the warm, welcoming community of Monmouth Reform Temple is a joy.  I hope to meet you and your family when you visit us.
